# Free Content Browser

Since version 1.9.0, the Dash Content Browser is available for free, for everyone, forever.&#x20;

{% hint style="success" %}
To get a Free Dash license, download the normal Dash installer <https://www.polygonflow.io/download-latest-dash>, then open the License Manager from the main Dash menu, and then you will find the option to start a free Dash license.&#x20;
{% endhint %}

This free, limited Dash license gives you easy access to all the **Supported Libraries**, the **Tagging System**, and the **Centralized Asset Experience**. This means that for free, you can easily browse, search, and drag and drop all your assets in all your UE5 projects. \
\
\&#xNAN;*Currently, the supported asset libraries are:*&#x20;

* FAB
* Quixel Bridge
* Poly Haven
* Amazon Berkley Objects
* AmbientCG
* The Base Mesh Library
* The IES Library
* Your own Project Assets
* Dash Asset Marketplace&#x20;
  * Dekogon Library
  * Sierra Library (One Free Pack)

If you want more detailed info on the Content Browser, you can find it here: [Content Browser Basics](/getting-started/user-interface/content-browser.md), if you want more info on the Centralized Asset Experience, you can find it here: [Centralized Asset Browser](/how-it-works/centralized-asset-browser.md), and if you want more info on the Dash Asset Marketplace, you can find it here: [Asset Marketplace](/getting-started/user-interface/content-browser/asset-marketplace.md) . <br>

Some important notes:

* With a free Dash license, you won't be able to use any of the other tools in Dash, for example, [Easy Scattering](/how-it-works/scatter-masking-features.md), [Procedural Meshes](/how-it-works/mesh-based-tools.md), [Physics Tools](/how-it-works/physics-tools.md), or [Material / Atmospheric Tools](/how-it-works/material-authoring.md).&#x20;
* **✅ You can start a free license from the License Manager in Dash 1.9.0 or later. ✅** \
  ( If you enjoy the paid tools in Dash, we really appreciate the support from a paid license as that is what helps us continuously improve Dash 🙏)
* The AI Assistant Sophon is also included in the free version, so make sure to use that to get quick help on how the Content Browser works.&#x20;

In the video below, you will see a highlight of the Free Dash Content Browser, but as it is a few months old, it does not contain some of our newly added libraries.&#x20;
